Meet the Foundation Staff

Margie Wilkinson

Director of operations and senior program officer focusing on health and wellness, Margie has worked with the Danville Regional Foundation since its inception in 2005. She previously worked as the executive director for the Danville Regional Health Foundation and the Danville Community College Educational Foundation, respectively, and taught Pittsylvania County students for eight years. Margie has a bachelor's and master's degree from Radford University, and is a graduate of Leadership Southside, and the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership at the University of Virginia. A Pittsylvania County native, Margie lives on a farm in Ringgold, where she enjoys gardening and raising chickens.
