Meet the Foundation Board
Wayne Wilson
Wayne was appointed to a three-year term as a member of the Board of Directors in May 2010 after serving a one-year term as an Advisory Member. He is a corporate director and the principal of Wayne Wilson & Company, an independent business advisory services firm. Formerly President of PC Connection, Inc. and a partner in national accounting firm Deloitte & Touche LLP, Wayne has served on several public company boards of directors including ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, Edgewater Technology, FairPoint Communications, and Hologic, Inc. During his business career, Wayne has counseled numerous business owners and CEOs on financial and growth-related issues. He is a graduate of Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Wayne and his wife Alice reside in Pittsylvania County near Chatham.

The Board of Directors of the Danville Regional Foundation is a diverse group of Danville and Pittsylvania County citizens who have distinguished themselves through their service and dedication to the community. Members bring to the Board a mix of energy, experience, expertise and continuity, as well as a commitment to enhance the long-term future of the area.
