Danville Science Center Opens New Exhibit

Shortly after the ribbon was cut at the Danville Science Center’s new exhibit Thursday, young children ambled around it, playing on the large model train and at the faux ticket booth. The exhibit is designed to pique the curiosity of children 5 and younger — and their families — but encouraging them to learn through playing. The science center also plans to construct a number of other educational exhibits teaching math, problem solving and science within the train station. The exhibit was established with grant money from multiple foundations.
