New survey takes pulse of health in Dan River Region

A local collaborative is conducting a community health assessment in Danville and Pittsylvania County to better understand the factors that determine the health of the Dan River Region’s residents.
The Health Collaborative, which was started by the Danville Regional Foundation, will use the survey’s information to write a health equity report, said Elyse Jardine, program manager at the Health Collaborative/Institute for Public Health Innovation.
