Riverfront park trips worth it

Water features, walking trails, pocket parks with play areas or places to relax, and even a carousel. That was all part of the tours of two riverfront parks that Danville officials and community leaders took this week in Louisville, Kentucky, and Chattanooga, Tennessee.

“It was a thought-provoking trip,” City Councilman Fred Shanks said.
